TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Price estimates are based on Pete’s Printing current costs of production and, unless otherwise agreed, are subject to amendment on or at any time after acceptance, where such amendment is required in order to meet any rise or fall in such costs.
Printed proofs are not normally provided, and will incur an extra charge. However a proof PDF file can be provided free of charge on request. Pete’s Printing shall incur no liability for any errors not corrected by the customer in proofs or PDF files submitted. The same applies when proofs or PDF files are not requested.
We accept cash or card and provide an itemized receipt for your records.
PAYMENT TERMS: all work must be paid for in advance of work being carried out
The printer shall not be liable for any loss to the customer arising from delay in transit not caused by the printer.
Standing material owned by the printer and used by him in the production (e.g. plates, film etc., or as electronic files created to complete the job) shall remain his exclusive property. Such items when supplied by the customer shall remain the customer's property. Unless otherwise advised by the customer, the printer will (as a service to the customer) retain all such materials (electronic or otherwise) associated with the job for a reasonable length of time for which there is usually no charge.
Materials supplied by the customer
Pete’s Printing may reject any paper or other materials supplied or specified by the customer which appear to be unsuitable. Where materials are so supplied or specified, we will take every care to secure the best results, but responsibility will not be accepted for imperfect work caused by defects in or unsuitability of materials so supplied or specified. Quantities of materials supplied shall be adequate to cover normal spoilage.
It is your responsibility to maintain a copy of the original file. Pete’s Printing is not responsible for accidental damage to media supplied by you or for the accuracy of furnished input or final output. Pete’s Printing may limit the maximum size of any content that may be uploaded. Until digital input can be evaluated by Pete’s Printing, no claims or promises are made about the ability to work with jobs submitted in digital format, and no liability is assumed for problems that may arise.
Pete’s Printing shall not be required to print any matter which in his opinion is or may be of an illegal or libelous nature or an infringement of the proprietary or other rights of any third party. The printer shall be indemnified by the customer in respect of any claims, cost and expenses arising out of any libelous matter or any infringement of copyright, patent, design or of any other proprietary or personal rights contained in any materialprinted for the customer. The indemnity shall extend to any amounts paid on a lawyer's advice in settlement of any claim.
